For those with opinions against AI in the classroom ~ I’m here to share that the genie is out of the bottle. As seen when I was in the Tacoma school district, schools are officially introducing kids to AI for their work. It is happening. It will not go away. What we can do as ‘the adults in the room’ is share responsible behaviors regarding their use. I even sat in a training created by the local teachers’ union for how to use AI in the classroom. The era has shifted. The goal now is to craft responsible aspects to the use.
